Welcome to pbLua – a replacement firmware for the LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT that lets you program the NXT from just about any kind of host computer that supports USB host mode or the Bluetooth Serial Port Profile.

That means you won’t need to lug around a laptop – the new generation of tablets will be ideal tools for programming the NXT.

(Note to tablet manufacturers – I’d be very happy to test your tablet with the LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT. As long as you support some kind of serial terminal from USB or Bluettoth SPP, we should be all set)
