The pbForth website has been updated with a new article describing how to use the pbForth Assembler. The assembler is a text script that you upload to the RCX. The RCX actually assembles source code for itself. Total code space usage is about 4K.

This is a classic on algorithms and tuning that should be on all programmers' bookshelves. Jon Bentley has a way of phrasing the most arcane aspects of computer science into understandable terms. I have the original edition of this book, and it is one of the volumes I turn to for inspiration when I'm having a "stupid day" in front of a computer.
